The other day I told the hubby , “All I have is a hubby, no hobby. No free time to do something nice and new”
“And what would you do in said free time?”
“I will do something. Anything. See everyone is doing something.”
I didn’t even wait to see whether he sighed or did what he does best – nothing.
But looks like Sidharth Kuncalienker has infact been listening to me, and I became awfully aware of it in various ways, as detailed below : (Gosh! That MBA background ensures that everything has to be as detailed below!)
Like this , when I came back after my yoga , he said “Oh yogak gelle? (Oh went for yoga, is it?) Shouldn’t have. You would have got some free time”
Or when I was poring over the nightly crossword and asked for his help, he said this, ” You will get the answer tomorrow. Keep your time free now.”
Some days back, I cooked a rather elaborate dish , which was on my to-do list for long. After relishing the same along with the rest, the husband says this “Why did you cook? You have wasted your free time.”
Or like last evening , when he saw me fully engrossed in Zee Marathi and I shushed him, he said in a stage whisper. “Put off the TV. Get some free time.”
Trust the hubs to tell me , ever so discreetly, time is only as free as me 🙂
